Hey hey! The first place Cubs beat the Red Sox 4-1 on Friday behind a nice start from Colin Rea (5 IP, 1 ER, 5 K), a first inning three-run homer from Seiya Suzuki, and four innings of scoreless ball from the bullpen.
The win put an end to Boston's ten-game winning streak and gave the North Siders a 1.5 game lead in the NL Central.
The series continues Saturday at the Friendly Confines.
