64

Holy mackerel! The first place Cubs shut out Boston 6-0 on Saturday behind a dominant start from Shota Imanaga (7 IP, 5 K), five homers (Busch, Tucker, Shaw, Crow-Armstrong, and Happ), and two scoreless innings from the bullpen!

Busch and Tucker went back-to-back to put the North Siders up by two in the 1st, and PCA and Happ went back-to-back in the 8th.

Brad Keller struck out the side in the 8th and Brasier struck out two of the four batsmen he faced in the 9th to secure the victory.

The series wraps up Sunday at Wrigley before the Royals come to town Monday to kick off a three-game set.

In other news:  THE CUBS HAVE THE BEST RECORD IN BASEBALL.

98 games down, 64 to go.

GO CUBS GO!
