HEY HEY! The first place Chicago Cubs won their tenth straight game on Friday, a 6-4 comeback win over the Dodgers behind four RBI from Dansby Swanson (2-for-3, HR), a home run from Alex Bregman, stellar defense, and four scoreless relief innings from the bullpen!

The North Siders trailed 4-0 until the top of the 7th, when Swanson hit a two-run triple and scored on a Hoerner single. They scored again on Bregman's 8th inning solo shot, and then took the lead on a two-run homer from Swanson.

Hoerner also combined with reliever Ryan Rolison for a stellar 3-4-1 putout at first, barehanding a hot shot off of Busch's glove and firing to Rolison, who outraced Hyeseong Kim to the bag. Swanson and Suzuki also each had a web gem.

The series continues Saturday at Chavez Ravine.

Friday in the NL Central -- the Cubs lost a frustrating one to the Bucs 2-0 while the Brewers also lost, dropping the CMN.

Shota Imanaga tossed six no-hit innings (6 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 9 K), but the bullpen couldn't contain the Pirates as Thielbar gave up two runs in the 7th. Of course, ya can't win if ya don't score, and the Cubs didn't.

The series continues Saturday and wraps up Sunday before the North Siders head out on a quick three-game road trip to Philadelphia.
