Holy cow! The Cubs came back to beat the Braves 7-6 in 10 innings on Monday behind three scoreless relief innings from Aaron Civale in his Cubs debut, a home run from Ian Happ, a perfect 10th inning from Kittredge, and a walk-off RBI single from Carson Kelly!
Kelly had a great day at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run and 3 RBI. Happ went 3-for-5 and Matt Shaw also tallied two hits.
Elsewhere in the NL Central, the Brewers lost while the Reds won.
The series continues Tuesday at the Friendly Confines. 138 games down, 24 to go.
