Hey hey! The Cubs beat the Brewers 10-3 on Wednesday with a leadoff home run from Michael Busch, two RBI from Kyle Tucker, a three-run double from Moises Ballesteros (welcome back!), a solo homer from Ian Happ, and, most importantly, four scoreless relief innings from the bullpen!

The win kept the North Siders within one game of the first place Brewers. After an off day Thursday, the Cubs kick off a six-game homestand on Friday as the Orioles come to the Friendly Confines.

Holy mackerel! The first place Cubs beat the White Sox 5-4 on Sunday behind a nice start from Five-Fingered Brown (5 IP, 1 ER, 4 K), Daniel Palencia's 14th save, and two hits apiece from Pete Crow-Armstrong and Nico Hoerner!

The Men in Blue head to Wrigley North on Monday to kick off a huge three-game series against the Brewers, who also won on Sunday to remain tied in the standings with the Cubs.

Hey hey! The first place Cubs beat the White Sox 6-1 on Saturday behind a quality start from Cade Horton (6.1 IP, 0 ER, 3 K) and home runs from Ian Happ and Matt Shaw.
 
The win gave the Cubs a 76-75 all-time edge in the Crosstown Series and, coupled with Milwaukee's loss to the Marlins, put the North Siders back atop the NL Central.

Hey hey! The Cubs shut out the Royals 6-0 on Tuesday at Wrigley behind a dominant start from Matthew Boyd (7 IP, 6 K), an unassisted double play by Gold Glover Dansby Swanson, and two hits apiece from Nico Hoerner, Swanson, & Matt Shaw!

Boyd has now tossed 23 consecutive scoreless innings, lowering his ERA to 2.20.

The rubber game of the series is Wednesday afternoon at the Friendly Confines.

Holy mackerel! The first place Cubs shut out Boston 6-0 on Saturday behind a dominant start from Shota Imanaga (7 IP, 5 K), five homers (Busch, Tucker, Shaw, Crow-Armstrong, and Happ), and two scoreless innings from the bullpen!

Busch and Tucker went back-to-back to put the North Siders up by two in the 1st, and PCA and Happ went back-to-back in the 8th.

Brad Keller struck out the side in the 8th and Brasier struck out two of the four batsmen he faced in the 9th to secure the victory.

The series wraps up Sunday at Wrigley before the Royals come to town Monday to kick off a three-game set.

The win gave the North Siders the series win over New York, and maintained their one game lead over the surging Brewers.

Busch and Crow-Armstrong each had themselves a day, both going 4-for-4 and driving in a combined seven runs (Busch 5, PCA 2).

The win gave the North Siders the series sweep over Cleveland as they head into a three-game weekend set against the third place Cardinals.

Holy cow! The first place Cubs came back to beat Cleveland 5-4 on Wednesday behind 3.2 innings of one-run ball from the bullpen, two RBI from Pete Crow-Armstrong, and three RBI from Seiya Suzuki!
 
PCA was named the starting center fielder for the NL All-Star squad, and Kyle Tucker was named the starting right fielder. Here's hoping they won't be the only Cubs to make the team this year! Suzuki, Busch, Kelly, and Boyd all deserve consideration.
